Punta Cana

The reason for going there: Winter golfing seems no fun in snow mounds, which is why a lot of golfers flock to Punta Cana when it is winter so that they can take advantage of the warm weather as well as award-winning courses in the city – they include the course that is Jack Nicklaus-designed at Punta Espada Golf Club. Here, the beaches are one of the cleanest in the world in which up to 14 have got the Blue Flag certification for cleanliness and sustainability.

The place to stay: Westin Puntacana Resort Club. It is situated within the famous Puntacana Resort and Club’s 15,000 acres, with the championship golf courses as well as three miles of beaches. Also, the resort is home to only Six Senses Spa of the Caribbean.

Krabi

The reason for going there: December marks the kick-off of the dry season from the Thai city – there, the temperatures rarely drop under 80 degrees within the day. Here, limestone cliffs in the distance among the mangrove biome as well as hundreds of offshore islands cum fishing villages from the Andaman Sea. Have one nighttime sea kayaking journey via the hongs. Or, you can hop on one speed boat for one Bond-like race to the famous Phi Phi Island.

The place to stay: While the luxury tends to be sophisticated as well as being understated at Phulay Bay, one Ritz Carlton Reserve, the bedroom-sized bathrooms, and oversized king beds are monumental not only in size but also opulence.

Muscat

The reason for going there: Located in Oman, its mix of high rise condos and 16th-century Portuguese forts offer one juxtaposing skyline along the golden beaches of the city.

The place to stay: The luxury accommodations from Al Bustan Palace, one Ritz Carlton Hotel.
